Hot Shots
Hot Shots is the only nationally recognized grass roots tennis program for children from 7 to 12 years of age. With the use of modified equipment, from the first moment children participate in the Hot Shots program, they will actually 'play the game' of tennis. Players get to play other players of similar abilities and mix in a fun and friendly atmosphere. With several levels and different playing formats, this program is set to revolutionise tennis in Australia.
Modified balls
Let them use the right ball…
Slower balls make the game easier for children. Kids have more time and more control. This makes the game more fun at the introductory stage. As the court size gets bigger the tennis ball changes. Balls are colour coded to match the program.
+ Modified racquets
Let them use the right racquet…
Different sized racquets can be used with a slower ball to help make the game easier to play. This is particularly important for junior players. As the court increases in size and the tennis ball changes the racquet get bigger.
+ Modified courts
Let them use the right court…
For kids to be able to play using the modified balls and racquets effectively, they play on modified courts.
= Easy to play!
