Cycle Club
Our Sunday the 17th of January our Cycle Academy run by champion cyclist, Kirsty Broun will commence. This is huge for The Gap Health and Racquet Club and is an awesome opportunity for our members to learn how to ride on the road from a true professional. The club will kick off at 6am on the 17th of January and will run for an hour and a half every Sunday morning. The first session will kick off with a skills and information session. You will need your own bike (preferably a road bike) and a helmet to get you started. Cost to participate will be $20 per session or $190 for a ten pack. This price will include a coffee at the club after your ride.
Don't know who Kirsty is? Google her! Kirsty currently holds a scholarship with the Australian Institute of Sport and is the Australian Criterium Champion for 2008 and 2009.
Need some gear to get you started? Ashgrove Cycles offers our members a discount, grab your discount card from reception.
